Our Newest Program, “Firefighter Storytellers” debuts Wednesday night!

Play

They say a picture paints a thousand words: The "Firefighter Storytellers" radio show will use a photo as a jumping off point for telling stories that share our experiences in the fire service.

The family at Firefighter Netcast continues to grow!  This Wednesday, June 9 at 9pm, be sure to tune in live as we welcome our newest featured program to our growing family.

The direct link for the live show is here.

Tiger Schmittendorf is the host of “Firefighter Storytellers”, an open-format radio show in which listeners are encouraged to call in with their personal stories of what brought them into the fire service, and what has made the experience memorable for them.

We hope that our callers will share some insight as to what keeps them going day-in and day-out serving in our business of delivering emergency services to our communities.

“Firefighter Storytellers” is a natural outgrowth from Tiger’s popular “Run to the Curb” series.  Tiger’s first guest will be very special — a volunteer firefighter and emergency room doctor who recently published a book of his own experiences in “the best damn job in the world.”   Read more on Tiger’s site.

Each and every program in the Firefighter NetCast line-up (including “The Firefighter NetCast Show” with John and Rhett, “The Voice of Reason” with Art Goodrich, and now “Firefighter Storytellers” with Tiger Schmittendorf) is designed to facilitate kitchen table-style discussions between firefighters.

Firefighter NetCast is not your father’s radio show!  It’s the only programming of its kind for firefighters.  Check out our entire lineup throughout the summer as we have several new surprises on the horizon.  If you’ve missed any previous program, you can find them here on Firefighter NetCast, or download them all over at iTunes.  It’s free, easy, and fun- all great words for firefighters!
