Following a very hectic schedule at Fire Rescue International, John and Rhett decided to take the time to do a wrap-up show. Basically, we turned the mic over to Captain Willie Wines Jr. of the blog IronFiremen.com (http://woodenladdersandironfiremen.blogspot.com).
Captain Wines traveled with us to Chicago and was basically our Roadie. We could not have asked for a better guy to bring along to be our help.
In just minutes on the floor of the exhibit hall, he was able to set up our gear, take almost 1000 pictures, and completely annoy the ladies over at the pink heals tour booth.
John and I had significant technological issues to overcome in Chicago that we did not plan for. Captain Wines was a huge help in getting us set up while we worked through the issues.
He had a blast along with us…and we all got to meet some really great fire service leaders!
